Apprentice
An Apprenticeship is a great way to get into hairdressing!
We offer:
an in-depth education in hairdressing, where you will learn how to cut and colour hair as well as building skills on how to build relationships with your clients.

Assistant
This is the perfect role if you are a peoples person and want to be part of a great team having fun everyday interacting with clients and helping our stylists manage their days.
As an Assistant you will be required to work 5 days a week in the salon where we will also incorporate elements of relevant training for you too. This is a role for someone who wants to be part of the salon buzz but not sure they would want to train as a stylist.
Front of House
This is a great job if you have a friendly, sociable character. No experience required!
Being Front of House and the face of Mesart, we require excellent people skills as customer care is one of our top priorities!
Educator role
Full Time Hair Educator / Hair Stylist
We are looking for an experienced Hair Educator/Stylist who specialises in all hair types, including African/Caribbean/ Black British/Mixed heritage textured hair types, braids, with or without extensions and .
We are looking for:
A hair educator with a minimum of 1 years teaching experience to join our education team.
Must specialise in colour and cutting education in all hair types, braids, with or without extensions.
This person will also work part-time in our salons as a colourist/stylist.
Role and Responsibilities:
Teaching NVQ qualified assistants and stylists from within Mesart as well as external students in all colouring and cutting techniques.
Working closely with the Education Director, your role will be to lead on the design of cutting and colouring courses and curriculum.
Work collaboratively with senior management to diversify Mesart’s service offering
Mentoring assistants and ensuring their progress is being tracked
Work collaboratively with the managers to upskill Mesart stylists in all hair cutting and colouring techniques
